Senior Quantity Surveyor Officer III (1 POST)
Qualifications:
A holder of Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Building
Economics and registered with relevant professional body. Fluency' in written and spoken
English and ability to communicate ideas freely and easily is essential. .
Experience:
At least 3 years experience practicing or working as Quantity Surveyor in a reputable organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare feasibility appraisals for construction development works.
Prepare budget forecasts in anticipated developments in construction works.
Prepare Bills of Quantity (BOQ).
Prepare contract documents.
Advise on procurement strategies.
Review Evaluation Reports for various tenders.
Prepare pre-qualification and or expression of interest documents for soliciting bidders.
Ascertain and verify contractual claims.
Provide detailed financial progress reports for on-going works.
Prepare financial statements for works.
Review final accounts for projects.
Value completed work and advise for interim payments. .
Carry out value analysis, schedule requirements / materials and costs for construction projects. .
Undertake conditional analysis for repair and maintenance' works of construction projects.
Prepare Tender documents for Goods, Works, Consultancy and Non-consultancy Services.
Participate in Departmental (PMU) budget preparation.
Prepare monthly and or. quarterly performance reports.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

Office Supervisor ( 2 POSTS)
Qualifications:
Holders of Diploma/Degree in records management.'
Experience:
Atleast 3 years experience in related field and comfortable with new technology i.e. computer literate and conversant with various records management software.
Key Responsibilities:
In-charge of the Registry, depending on qualification and experience.
Responsible for repairing worn out documents.
Responsible for opening new files.
Supervising registry staff and office attendants.
Establishing and maintaining indexes and movement of files to facilitate retrieval of information and records.
Maintain security of documents and registers.
Advising on the best ways of keeping records.
Responsible for proper office management.
Designing and implementing appropriate records management systems and procedures. .
Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Salary and Remunerations:
All posts carry lucrative salary and benefits within NCAA Salary Scales. However, entry point within a particular salary scale will depend on academic qualification and experience.
Information Technology Officer III (3 POSTS)
Qualifications:
Holders of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from a reputable Institution. Experience:
At least 3 years experience in practicing Information Communication Technology in a reputable work place / organization
Key Responsibilities:
Data base and network administration.
Documenting current procedures and operating methods.
Analysis of documents and reports.
Making backup copies of all data base end transaction logs regularly.
Making checks and services for the computers when necessary to improve performance'.
Assessing computer hardware application system and software development.
Monitoring all activities related to networks, databases, Operating systems and hardware maintenance.
Assisting programmers with documentation.
Making recommendations for evaluation of new software and hardware.
Coordinating activities of computer application and development.
Updating antivirus for all NCAA computers.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Senior Administrative Officer III (1 POST)
Qualifications:
Holders of Advanced Diploma/Degree in Public Administration with Postgraduate Degree in Public Administration from reputable institutions.
Experience:
Candidates must possess at least 3 years continuous work experience in Public Administration at a senior position.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in developing and maintaining up to-dote administrative records so as to have a sound management information system.
Participate in ensuring healthy working relations-at the work place.
Participate in implementing and reviewing personnel and administration Policies, Rules, Regulations and Procedures.
Participating in preparing departmental annual budget.
Participate in formulating and implementing induction programmes for new employees.
Participate, in evaluating jobs so as to develop Schemes of Service.
The Senior Administrative Officer will pursue all aspects related to Administration functions within the organization.
Any other duties as may be assigned by Seniors.
Senior Human Resources Officer III (1 POST)
Qualifications:
Holders of Advanced Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management with Postgraduate
Degree in Human Resources Management from reputable institutions. .'
Experience:
Candidates must possess at least 3 years continuous work experience in human Resources
Management at a senior position.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining up to-date Human Resources records so as to have a sound management information system for the staff.
Ensuring healthy working relations at the work place.
Implementing and reviewing staff Policies, Rules, Regulations and a Procedures.
Giving advice on all matters related to staff.
Preparing training programmes.
Participating in preparing departmental annual budget.
liaising with Trade Union and Conciliation Boards on matters relating to labour relations.
Formulating and implementing induction programmes for new employees.
Participating in identifying training need for staff. -
evaluating jobs so as to develop Schemes of Service.
Overseeing employees benefit-entitlements.
Advising departmental Heads on disciplinary matters.
Any other duties as may be assigned by Seniors
